Siding & exterior work, scoped like a roof
The same discipline we bring to a roof — documented inspection, written scope, scheduled work — applied to the rest of the envelope: siding, soffit, fascia, and trim.
Planned exterior work
What a siding scope can cover
Siding repair or replacement, soffit and fascia, exterior trim, and the flashing and transition details where walls meet the roofline — planned on your schedule, not a storm’s.
We photograph existing conditions, explain what we find, and put the scope in writing before work starts. Exact scope depends on the inspection findings and is confirmed for your property before work begins.
Storm-damaged siding with an insurance claim in play is a different lane — that work runs through our sister restoration company, Hail Storm Solutions.
Common siding & exterior work
- Siding repair & replacement — lap, panel, and board materials matched to the existing exterior
- Soffit & fascia — repaired or replaced where they’ve failed, not just capped over
- Exterior trim & flashing — the transition details where walls meet the roofline
- Storm-damaged siding with an insurance claim — routed to our sister restoration company, Hail Storm Solutions, rather than handled here
Material options
Siding material, matched to the wall it’s covering
Vinyl
The lowest-cost option and available in a wide range of colors and profiles. Won’t rot or need repainting, but it can crack in sustained cold and fade with UV exposure over the years — a real consideration at this elevation.
Fiber cement
More impact- and fire-resistant than vinyl, and holds paint longer. Heavier to install and, being cement-based, needs its cut edges sealed and painted to keep moisture out — a detail that matters for its long-term performance.
Engineered wood
Gives the look of traditional wood siding with better resistance to rot and insect damage than solid wood. Still needs regular repainting or staining to protect the surface, closer to real wood’s maintenance schedule than vinyl or fiber cement.
Whatever the material, the wall assembly behind it — house wrap, flashing at windows and doors, proper overlap and fastening — is what actually keeps water out. We inspect and document that assembly as part of every siding scope, not just the visible surface.
How it works
From concern to closeout
01
Listen
What’s wrong with the exterior, or what you want it to look like, and the timeline you’re working with.
02
Assess
Documented inspection of siding, soffit, fascia, and the flashing details where the wall meets the roof.
03
Scope
Findings explained in plain terms, then a written scope before anything is ordered.
04
Coordinate
Work scheduled and done to the written scope, with photos of what we found and what we did.

Common questions
What’s the difference between siding repair and a full replacement?
Repair replaces damaged sections in matching material; replacement takes the whole elevation down to the sheathing. Which one fits is a finding from the inspection, not a guess made over the phone.
Can you match my existing siding?
We match material, profile, and color as closely as the manufacturer allows. Discontinued products sometimes force a decision about how much of the exterior needs to come off to blend the new material in — that gets settled before the scope is written.
Do soffit and fascia get inspected along with the siding?
Yes — they’re part of the same envelope, and a problem in one often shows up as damage in the other. The inspection covers all three together.
What if the siding damage is from a storm and I have an insurance claim?
That work runs through our sister restoration company, Hail Storm Solutions, rather than through this page.
How is this different from a roof inspection?
Same documented-inspection, written-scope discipline, applied to the walls instead of the roof. Many properties need both looked at together.
