Why Choose Us
We’d rather show you than tell you. Below is a plain, side-by-side look at what you get working with us, set against what’s common across the roofing industry generally — not any one competitor, named or implied. Every point on our side is something already true and already published elsewhere on this site; nothing here is new.
Side by side
Before any scope is written
- Us: We get on the roof and document the condition first — photos as we go, before we write a single line of scope.
- Common industry practice: Some contractors quote from the driveway, before anyone has actually been on the roof.
Who’s behind the work
- Us: Founder James Jennings is a licensed general contractor. He separately passed the ICC F11 and F14 National Standard Exams — F11 is the General Building Contractor exam, F14 is Roofing Contractor.
- Common industry practice: Neither Wyoming nor Colorado issues a state roofing or general-contractor license, so licensing here is handled city by city, county by county — and plenty of operators work without ever sitting a standardized exam in the trade.
Who you’re trusting
- Us: Veteran-owned and operated.
- Common industry practice: Varies by company; we simply say what’s true of ours.
Your insurance deductible
- Us: We never offer to pay, waive, or rebate your deductible — Colorado law (SB 12-038) forbids it outright, and we follow that law regardless of which state the job is in.
- Common industry practice: Some storm-chasing outfits illegally offer to “eat” the deductible to win the job. If a contractor offers that, they’re telling you they’ll break the law on your roof.
When you call
- Us: The line is answered 24/7 by a real person, not a machine that takes a message until Monday.
- Common industry practice: After-hours calls often go straight to voicemail.
The questions that don’t flatter us
- Us: We publish the honest answers to the questions most roofers dodge — licensing, deductibles, whether insurance will actually pay — on our FAQ page, including the ones that don’t make us look better.
- Common industry practice: Marketing pages that only show the flattering answers.
What this isn’t
This isn’t a claim that every other roofer in Wyoming or Colorado does business the wrong way — plenty don’t. It’s a plain statement of what you get here, put next to what’s common enough in this industry that it’s worth naming. If you want the details behind any line above, they’re on our FAQ page and our process page.
Documented inspection, straight answers, one licensed general contractor standing behind the work. Call (307) 323-4465, or request an inspection and see for yourself.
